1. What is buru.com?

Buru.com is for anyone who wants to make better use of all the web contents they consume every day.

• Clip only the part I want-article, image, video, bookmark-so I don’t have to visit lots of websites.
• Organize these web contents by a collection so it’s more useful for later use - reference, sharing, etc.
• Discover web contents that others are collecting.
• Start following other people’s web collection and automatically get updates on that topic.

2. What is Buru Picker?

Buru Toolbar is installed at the bottom of your browser and it can be used to save web contents(bookmark, article, image, and video) as you browse the internet. You can save your favorite part of the web using the Buru Toolbar.
You can also bookmark web pages or add feeds with a click of a button. The contents that you picked from the internet will automatically be saved into one of your buru.

3. How do I use Buru Picker?

- Subscribe to feeds
  Subscribing to feeds means that you will get updates from that website to your buru.com account.

• Click on the [Feed] button. (Click on the button again to unselect.)
• In the popup window:
  • Select which feed to subscribe to.
  • Put in the title and description.
  • Enter tags(keywords) so you can search it later.

- Bookmarking web pages

• Click on the [Bookmark] button. (Click on the button again to unselect.)
• In the popup window, put in the title, tags and notes for your reference.

- Articles

• Click on the [Article] button. (Click on the button again to unselect.)
• Select the part you want to save by dragging and highlighting. Images can also be highlighted and saved in the [article] picking mode.(Click other place to unselect)
• An orange clipping button will appear at the bottom of the highlighted area. Click on the [Clip] button to save. (Click other place to cancel)
• In the popup window, put in the title, tags and notes for your reference.

- Images

• Click on the [Image] button. (Click on the button again to unselect.)
• Images that can be saved will appear with orange outlines.(Images smaller than 80*80, roll over the image with your mouse)
• Small orange clipping buttons will be in the center of the images.
• In the popup window, put in the title, tags and notes for your reference.
• Once an image is clipped, the orange lines will turn gray and the button [clipped].

- Videos

• Click on the [Video] button. (Click on the button again to unselect.)
• Videos that can be saved will appear with orange outlines.
• An orange clipping buttons will in the left corner of the video.
• Click on the [Clip] button to save.
• In the popup window, put in the title, tags and notes for your reference.
• Once a video is clipped, the orange lines will turn gray and the button [clipped].

4. What does it mean to start following?

When new content posted to buru that you are following will appear in your following buru lists, the same way that new emails addressed to you show up in your email account. This way, you can keep up with all your favorite sites in one place, without having to visit each one individually.
